    About Trip leaders

Cai Xi is an artist and director of CX Silver Gallery, as well as the chef behind Cai’s Dim Sum Catering. Born and trained in China, she has exhibited extensively both locally and nationally, and her work caixiart.com is held in private and public collections, including UW–Madison and the public radio station in Binghamton, NY. Cai is also a Taiji instructor, offering Taiji Fridays at the Brattleboro Museum, and a Chinese language teacher who formerly taught at The Putney School. Beyond her studio practice, she actively shares Chinese art and culture with schools and local communities. Over time, her creative practice has expanded to include cooking as an art form. Her passion is to enrich life through the exploration of arts and culture — inviting communities to connect through seeing, touching and tasting. Cai teams with artist and educator Yali Su in China, combining their cultural insight and artistic backgrounds to create a deeply immersive and meaningful travel experience.
